For me, never clean really means 3 or 4 range visits shooting 100 -200 rounds each time before I tear down, clean and re-lube..
That's all I asked for. Thank you.
So 100-200 rounds per session, up to a 1000 ish so far 0 malfunctions and it has been cleaned once? Either way that's all I asked for. Some data for the op to go by. Incidentally did you use brass cased or steel cased ammo?
Incidentally can you tell us compared to your other firearms, how easy is the takedown/basic field strip? When it comes to field strip nightmares I keep getting a picture of a fnar in my head.
After you have your nap time, tell us about that CZ858 of yours that keeps malfunctioning. How many spare parts kits did it need again? Its a shame you didn't pick a good rifle in the first place.
Funny you should mention that. I have 2 kits and funnily enough I didn't have to use anything in either of them. I even bought some loctite but that was never needed either. Since you really have nothing valid to add I really have nothing left to say to you. Oh and what you meant to say was It's.
Anyways OP for your use, I have 2 cz858s with approximately 2100 rounds down the tube between the pair of them 1700 on the first one and 400 down the second one.
So far neither of them has malfunctioned once.
I used 124gr surplus for most of them, 500 of the rounds on my first one was mfs non corrosive steel cased. the rest was mostly chinese surplus with a bit of czech surplus ammo.
The guns were cleaned every 400-700 rounds. And were shot anywhere from 400-700 rounds per trip.
Again one thing to consider is the rc is investigating the cz, so it may follow the swiss in a complete drought where no one is retailing one anymore. And after that maybe even prohib, so whether that gamble is worth it is up to you. So far both the rifles have proven to be flawless in function mind you the second one almost have no rounds down the tube, the first one isn't that high either. But so far so good.
