Oops, partly my fault...was just looking at the Can Am 1911 combo thread, haha! Lots of guys customizing their 1911A1 government models and some of them are looking pretty sharp.
Digging the brushed look on yours though. If I were to take the blue off mine, that's the look I'd go for....not a big fan of the mirror polished look.

This is now my daughters .22 It started as a project to build a single stack .40 but I stumbled across a STI .22 conversion and waa..laa
Internals are combination of Infinity,STI and Ed Brown.
Now just need to find some extra mags for her.

I didn't buff it with sand paper. It's bare bones stock and i love it.
