This is my first handgun and i bought the canam deal, just so i can mess around with it and not worry to much. great gun have put 500-600 rounds through with no issues! I have taken it apart and polished a few peices and cut the main spring. then i picked up some pearl style grips and polished the trigger/hammer and some other parts. Pictures done really show how polished/chrome it looks. I am very happy.

How you see it is how it comes... its the max michel model, Im not sure if they are available in canada. i really like the grips and front and back checkering... im going to try and shoot it this weekend.

Thanks gents. They are from ebay. Just a resin material by the looks of it. They have a slight ivory appearance but not over done. Took me a long time to find a pair that I liked. I've bought lots of 1911 grips from ebay that look terrible once you get them in your hand.
