Hi and thanks for looking!
I just bought the CQ-A and 1911 combo from Marstar. I was just cleaning the rifle now and had a hell of a time trying to get the hand guards off. I've used the C7 (Royal Canadian Navy), so I know they can be tough, but never experienced anything like this before!
After cleaning up all of the cosmoline, I got the entire rifle back together minus the hand guards. Just can't get them on!
So, I was wondering if this will get better over time? Or is there a way to adjust the slip ring spring?
Your thoughts?
And please don't mention anything about how funny an AR looks without it's hand guards......I've already been staring at it for hours!
