Dominion Arms T97NRR Rifle?

I guess it comes down to personal preference, but i gotta ask, whats so special about a bayo lug?
I dont have a knife to hang on it, and I think the whole concept of trench warfare fighting with a bullpup is beyond goofy, so I dont see the attraction at all.

its not so much that a lug is the be all to the end all,

its that the advertised picture of gun I am buying has one, when in actuality, the model I am buying is not the model pictured, and there is no indication from can am that the model pictured, is not the model being bought.

IE if a site offers a product for sale/pre-sale, with a picture, then that picture better be of the product, or stipulate that what you are buying is not what is pictured,

as it is, can am advertised with a picture of a t97 with bayonet lug, and I pre ordered expecting as such, so naturally im let down to find out that what was advertised is not what I actually bought.

Why are people thinking ours will not have a bayo lug? Have we ever said it won't?

I do believe people are thinking your guns will not have a bayonet lug because the current batch of nonrestricted type 97s do not have a bayonet lug. Nobody knows where your pictures came from, if the guns are made, when they are to arrive on canadian soil or if your variant even has an frt number. It's a guessing game an the only people with information aren't being very forth coming.

It's fall. Are they here yet?

Ps. I can't figure out why you'd want a bayonet on this gun in the first place.

Type 97 Update???

What is the latest word?

ETA on the website still says Fall 2013, and we all know that didn't happen.

In another thread SFRC says these guns still have to be classified by the RCMP, and we all know that will take a couple years.

right , SFRC have in stock T97 via North Silva and need to sell them before CanAmmo guns will hit the shelfs ...that why his comment sound like that . I am afraid that both , CanAmmo and NorthSilva came to agreement to keep updated rifles out of shelfs till current stock will be sold or almost sold .

So you are saying that it is even plausible, that Canada Ammo -having waited 4+ years and suffering a large degree of financial loss when the original T97 was prohibited- would be purposely holding back their first shipment of Dominion Arms T97's (a competing product for all intent and purposes), for the sole purpose of helping a different distributor and in turn their distribution network of dealers move their old stock of rifles?

You guys must be hanging out with Rob Ford. :onCrack:

Nevermind the fact that Canada Ammo is selling their guns for $200 less!!!

That right there is enough to tell you there is no kind of partnership/deal going on between them!

Ridiculous to even think that IMHO.

Regardless I didn't start this thread for a bunch of BS and speculation. I want to hear from CanAm!

They haven't been very straight up about ETA for this product, I'd like to get some clarification from canam.

As jer_vic has linked above, CanAm has been pretty clear about this. That the ETA is just that...an estimate...otherwise no further comment. You can hardly blame them.
