This is just more of a heads up/ advice post, Recently just bought a pile of mags from a supporting dealer for a great price. Received them the other day was a little disappointed to find they all require work to operate in my AR. but at the price Iam not too bummed about it. Iam not sure if they actually function good in a T97 or not as I don't have one at my disposal. Here's a few pics showing the issues.
Pros:
Seems like heavy duty steel construction
Followers and springs seems to be good quality
Floor Plates are a nice design and easy to remove
Rugged parkerized finish
Cons:
Double pinned with GIGANTIC rivets
Rivets so large neither of my guns will accept them
Cut outs on the back(don't know proper name) are too small and don't allow the the bolt to cycle passed or be released.
Pic of the mag showing rivets and finish

Pic of mag showing the rivet stopping on the trigger guard not allowing the mag to seat in the gun(180B) Removing the rear rivet might allow it to fit in this rifle

Pic of the mag stopping on trigger guard again(AR15) with the lower mag well on the AR15 and the size of the rivets it wont seat regardless of what pin is in the mag

Pic showing the major problem of the magazines.

And finally my first(rough) attempt of working on the mag, It does work better with the back opened up a little more but I do need to do some more work on it, Just need to find a way to do a nicer job and quicker to get through all the mags, and I plan to re rivet the mags with some lower profile rivets and see how that goes.
