Most popular 3 Gun shotgun set ups in Canada?

Ta Da what? I gave you that letter Eugene. lol
If someone was to make a 3.5" barrel for the Benelli M4 you would still be limited to 6 rounds.

Remington lists all Versa Max's as 3.5" guns.
Your Versa Max Tactical owners manual lists the ALL Versa Max's as 3.5" gun.

When or if I get an answer from RCMP I will post it here.
I got a Versa Max Sports Man and a Tactical Barrel.
If I have to, I will run the 26" sportsman barrel.
The Tactical barrel just makes me happy.

That's what I was thinking. Sportsman is clearly a 3.5" shotgun. If you put the tactical barrel on (which states 3"), then it should follow the 5 x 3.5" rule, one would think.

If you get an answer from RCMP, that would be awesome.

Again, very true. But you can fairly easily build a reliable 870 with 11-round capacity using the newest "basic model" receivers (6 in the tube + 3 extension + 1 ghost + 1 chamber). And reliable pumps are A LOT cheaper than reliable semi autos.

I shoot an 870 with 9 +1 capacity. Could you explain how to ghost load an 870. Thanks.

Hmmph. I shot my big mouth off and said it couldn't be done with the 870. Might not be practical in a match, but now I have to go see if I can do it smoothly enough to give it a whirl. Thanks.

It's not stated in the video, but you NEED to have one of the recent-production shell lifters in your 870 for this to work. If you use this method with an older Wingmaster, for example, you'll induce a malfunction that requires complete disassembly to resolve. It also requires you to have some amount of "bonus space" in your magazine tube since the ghost loaded round sits partially in the tube.

The lifter you need is the one with a three-sided rectangular cutout in the bottom. If yours is solid, then don't use this method.

Cycling that first round feels slightly stiffer than the rest, but I only notice the difference outside of competition. Once you get the hang of it, it adds maybe 10 seconds to your loading time, if that.

I've never had an issue with reliability using this method, nor have I heard of anyone having issues.
