Why not remove the brake and reduce it another 3 or 4 inches?
Good question.
Why not remove the brake and reduce it another 3 or 4 inches?
What it's actually good for is the mystery.
Really ?![]()
Sounds a reasonable explanation lol.
I don't care. There is no need to get your panties in a twist over nothing.'Pushing bush' is easier with a short rifle, and because he can! If someone wants to modify their rifle and has the tools and knowledge to do it right, who cares!

Looks like your the only one getting their panties in a knot! 26 post and you have 6 smart a$$ remarks! If you don't like it move along.
As for the the rest of us... When's the range report coming?
Moan moan moan. LOLFing stank. He is the only one getting his wad messed in his panties.
Don't be like that, I know you like me really. You are doing it again?!?!?
Just like the other posts in the 3000$ cz.
I have never put anyone on my ignore list but your such a goof and totally annoying that I just pipped my cherry on you.
By tightening up the bands and foreend tip, you might be on to something.
From what I see, the beavered off front end might eliminate one of the most annoying features I've found on the SVT. There are so many pieces of wood, solid steel and stampings hung off the barrel that all have to vibrate just badly enough to ruin the accuracy. By tightening up the bands and foreend tip, you might be on to something.
BTW, any arguments getting the barrel off the receiver?
