My point was that Caramel repeatedly said on this forum that he would NEVER feed any of his high-end firearms that cheap chinese ammo.
Just keep up with what he's been telling us that's all
Since i got 4K of chinese ammo, i shot 220 rounds one morning out of my SA NM M1A, and i got no failures and groups were from MOA to 2 MOA, i made a mea culpa tread and i will use it from now on, this ammo is as accurate as AE and is non corrosive, only stupid peoples dont change their mind if wrong... JP.

I too run all kinds of ammo in my higher ends guns.
I really like the Norc stuff (45 and 223), so much so that I panic bought/hoarded a ton of it this last time around....
I bought a number of those CanAm 1911s. Each one got a trigger job with a long trigger. It comes with a short trigger, which is good for a small hand. A larger hand should get a medium or long trigger. Best $15.00 you can spend.
Also, each got a new front and rear sight. Either a big red post or a fibre optic front and a taller rear sight to match. Of course, each got a new set of grips. I like the Hogue palm swells. Cheap, comfortable and do not interfere with reaching the mag release.
The CanAms a old guns. Not nearly as well finished as the new production Norincos. And not quite as accurate, either, but plenty accurate for everything except serious competition.

I'm running it on a Norinco commander frame. Great reliability and accuracy with cheap ammo.
It's a Bob Marvel design. It's not as quick to swap out as other conversions because there is a bolt(recoil spring guide) that needs to be tensioned..... I've just set it up as a full time 22lr so the slightly more involved installation is not a concern for me.

You could upgrade parts to suit your preference, (trigger, beaver tail, grips etc) and then set it up as your .22lr 1911.

I have the NightHawk conversion and agree that it's a bit fussy to setup on the gun and requires a tool. I mount it on my NHC 1911 and it looks and performs beautifully. Magazines are reasonable in cost compared to my last conversion. So far no complaints on ammo preferences.
