Both will work for what you want.
Don't know what else to say except "Moose at 400 yards!?!" Not very often does that present itself.
Just remember...if you drop a donkey on the far side of a pond, ravine or bog you still have to drag the big bugger all the way back. There's something to be said for flattening them close to the road or trail.
I took some advice a fellow in the Yukon once after pointing at a tree line and stating that I could hit a moose there. It was some 350-400yds away, but over some very marshy ground.
