I'm more frustrated that I wasn't told about the marks. and I asked for detail pics to be sent to my email. Guess what that side of the tube wasn't shown.

IMO, when I ask for pictures, I'm not looking for the clean stuff. I want to see all the marks etc on what I'm buying. IMO, all damages should clearly be documented, to protect both sides.

Too bad about the deal. At the end of the day it will operate the same, but it's shame you didn't know about this before paying.

Guess you can use a Sharpie on the scuff and chalk it up to a bad transaction. Knock on wood, I haven't had a bad transaction on the EE... yet.

I read the posts about the marks, and then went back and found the photos.
I suppose "as new" shouldn't have any marks. But those marks are really quite insignificant, and if the price was $300 less than retail, the scope was still a good value.

Pretty sure it's normal. I've seen other Sightron 8-32x56 scopes and they were marked the same way.

I have an 8-32 as well just checked it, mine reads the same 832x56
