New project

Looks like 3-10 years and you've posted incriminating pics on your account.
Being honest I'd pull all the stuff off your account!
I assume you don't have a firearms business licence. You need one to do the stuff you are doing, otherwise it's jail time and or a boatload of money.

If we could have bullpup rifles, Center Balanced Systems make some cool stocks.
However any aftermarket stock in a NO NO! Even if it's home built!
Again, pull your post and pics!!!!

Illegal........... don't need to say any more!
Silly Canadian laws

Well I do agree with your statement "Silly Canadian Law" and "don't need to say any more" 'cause I think at this point it's pretty clear where you stand on this matter.I do know you have made incorrect statements to bolster your argument thus weakening it in my opinion. Not having any legal training(nor do I intend to sleep at a Holiday Inn) I'm certainly not about to make a ruling on such a poorly word law.

We don't know if this is considered a bullpup and if it is,a bullpup in and of itself is not illegal...Metalbender has been pro active in dealing with the CFC and not only do I think he is right I also hope that the CFC does too.
Arguing that because certain after market stocks aren't legal therefore all should be(we still need to determine if this is a bullpup) is kinda cutting off your nose to spite your face.

We need to use the anti's tactic of nibbling away and picking off firearms one at a time and reverse it by adding them back.Because if we can add one back then another can be and so on.

Having only seen a couple pictures and not knowing how everything ties in together, until I see something clearly illegal (example would be full auto capability) I will support Metalbender and his project. At best I think he might be walking close to the edge so all the more reason to hope he is correct. We are being boxed in and the walls keep closing in.

I've found out that the rcmp and cbsa move at a snails pace. It's great that he has the skills to build his own gun, however aftermarket bullpups aren't allowed and that is what he's making.

I wonder if a phone call could get an answer faster. On a side not there's always other awesome SMG's you could pattern it after like the Vz. 61 Scorpion which would keep you well away from any bullpup gray area. Even though you're building a .22... A sporting .22... Stupid laws.

Who was doing the MP5/1022 project? Havent heard much on that one lately. Tec 9 would be badass for sure. I'd love to see the looks on the faces of some anti-gun douchebags when you pass them on a trail with an SMG swinging from the shoulder. In AB nobody really cares what I drag around the bush. Ive had berry pickers not bat an eyelash at some of my over the top tacticool shorty builds.

Not sure gunna look it up though :), not sure why there's not more " variant " kits out there for all different calibres ... Sure a fal is prohib but couldn't one dress up something else to look like it , I'd want one! Maybe Canada's to small of a market. Sorry for the derail

Coming late to the party here....... To my mind, it is more a pistol than a bullpup. Think Browning Buckmark Sporter, and you see the similarity in action.
Hoping for your success, if nothing to show up all the naysayers here!!
These are the people who classify and divide all gunnutz into categories and god help you if you do not belong to what they think is the right category.
Good Luck and anxiously waiting for more news and rogress reports
