Options for a .260 or 6.5X55?

Wondering what my options are for a modern hunting rifle in .260 Remington or 6.5X55 Swede?

Tikka or Browning would be my choice, but I don't think Browning still makes them?

T/c is offering 6.5x55in the venture if they can ever get their chit together. Zastava has it in their line up as well.

Does it have to be new? Put a "wanted" ad in the EE for a Winchester M70 Featherweight in 6.5x55. Beautiful rifles!

Bashaw found me a lefty Sako 75. They get high marks from me.

6.5x55 is my favourite caliber (I own three). My favourite and most accurate is my CZ 550 but I hope to add a Winchester and model 700 classic to my list someday. Find one that catches your eye and you will not be disappointed, it's a great versatile chambering.

I have a Rem 700 Classic in 6.5. It has a place of honour among its brethren in the gun safe.

Had one of those but sold it after attaining my 'holy grail' of 6.5x55mm's..... a Winchester Model 70 featherweight in it.

I've got a couple 260s, a 700 CDL SF and a Mod 7 CDL and a 700 Classic in 6.5X55.........the 260 works nicely through a short action but the 6.5X55 requires a long action, any other differences between the two cartridges is purely academic. Sorry no pics of the 6.5 or either 260, but here's a group shot from my 6.5X55................

I have a T3 in 6.5X55 and love the gun. Gorgeous wood stock and very accurate.

Always wanted one and went into Selin's one day and one of the posters on here was working that day, always knew I wanted a 6.5, handed me one and it was a instant sale.

Coopers can also be had in 260 (Model 54) or 6.5x55 (Model 52) if you want to go that route.

I have a friend that lets me borrow his 6.5 x 55 Husqvarna. They can be had for ridiculously low prices on places like tradeex and marstar I believe. Back in they it is said that they rivaled the Sako and this thing shoots like it. Will easily shoot an inch with his 120gr reloads and have never had a deer run off...
