AWOL, I fully understand what you and he and his family are going through, aside from the physical aspect the mental strain of cancer is devastating.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer Oct. 05 / 12 and my ten year younger Brother lost his two year battle with cancer exactly 7 days later Oct. 12 / 12.
My surgery was Dec. 28 / 12 but I still live with the fear..... will it come back somewhere ?

All i want for christmas is my wife back. She was recently diagnosed with alzheimers. Just found out to day a friend of the family has brain and lung cancer. Life sucks and goes on.
