My heart goes out to those in trouble with their health, or a loved one who is sick. Life deals out some poor hands. I lost an old time First Nations friend a couple of months ago, then his widow lost her house in a fire on my birthday, Dec. 1.

I lost my mom last winter to cancer, this is my first Christmas without my mother. Dad died several years ago. Smellie lost his brother, we lost a friend a short time ago as well all to cancer. We have been losing far to many family and friends lately. We feel this pain all to dearly- now I think I will go consume copious amounts of alcohol and try to forget.

F**k yeah. but they don't go that fast….but they can go almost anywhere….

Prayers and thoughts go out AWOLs people.

Drove one during a WINTEX at Meaford. Awesome performance and warm inside as well.

Parked our 3 outside M106 for the night.

I have a picture of the overnight snow which completely covered them.

CBO had to "rescue" us with their equipment.

It makes you stop and think about what really matters in life. The people around you.

We have lots of fun here talking and dreaming about old firearms and the stories and history that go with them. I can dream about owning a Garand, though I may never own one.

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who missing those dear to you.

God bless and Merry Christmas to all of you here at CGN

I would ask santa to help save my friend Tim who is fighting cancer. Tim is 43 with lovely wife & 2 young kids. He is a great dad and friend. If that is all I got from santa for the rest of my life, I would be quite satisfied.

AWOL,
That is the kindest, most meaningful post I have seen this Christmas time. Makes everything else kinda meaningless. Your friend is lucky to know you. All my best to you and Tim.

Never knowing when this great life of mine will end - and my heart goes out to each going through a rough time - i know i am getting what i want for Christmas: spend good times with my family. Taking my lovely wife to see The Nutcracker in Montreal on Dec. 30th, and going to the range with my boys in a few days - carpe diem dear friends. And my very best wishes to all!

My wife to love her Carcano! And the kids to have a great day. Same for my Dad who's at home recovering from a half hip replacement on Sunday. Other than that I've nothing to wish for and everything else is a bonus.
