I am looking to upgrade the front and rear sights on my Norc M14. I have been able to find several US companies that sell NM site sets. Midway, Brownells, Springfield, Keepshooting, etc. Is there any Canadian company that sells these? Or am I limited to purchasing from the states?

Thanks guys.

You guy gonna find a world of differrence, i did put my NM rear sight on one off my Socom, and i did thin the front post to NM specs at .060 and srunk the group of that rifle by one third by having good sights on it, it make a big difference... JP.

The NM front sight makes one hell of a difference. Ive brought in lots of brownells parts for my SA M1A. As long as your below the ITAR exemption its a piece of cake and well worth it.

I ordered a complete set of front and rear NM sights from SA on sale at Christmas and may still be on sale. $112.00 U.S for set.

Has anyone had any problems fitting the rear NM sights on there rifles? Mine binds ups and does not allow the windage to move from side to side. all so the elevation will bid up and not move. Looks like it might need to do some sanding. Anyone else have any problems with this or might now a good link for fitting? Thanks,

we need more info. are you just replacing the rear aperture, is it a chicom sight, commercial, or GI? can you take the whole sight apart? are all parts original with the rifle? pics would be nice.

Trendline won't export. Neither will Midway. I am hesitant to buy from S.A. cause I don't want to have to drill my receiver. Any one done this?

Holy necro post. Seems not shipping is info from 2013. I need to be more careful scrolling back in threads!

Are you sure about Treeline? I got this order last year without issue:

The sights are NM ( got them here on the EE ), There are to replace the ones that were on the rifle. There is very little play with them, tight fit with all parts of the sights. The ears on the rifle are the problem, a bit to much meat on them and there are signs of wear on them. The org. Sight is kinda crappy and i hoped the new one would work better, and look better as the chicom parts are a bit crude. When i put them on as per utube video, i found i very hard to even get them together. Most i think go together kinda easy with no fitting but mine wont. do many people find they have to fit the rear sights? Thanks for your help

nm apertures have to be fit to the sight, a fit with no play, some careful stoning . don't over do it. does the aperture slide well just on it,s own? the ears not fitting GI sights on norcs shows up occasionally. eliminate these interferences before expecting function. is there someone local who can put eyes on the rifle?

I have the hole rear sight. When i put it together before mounting to the rifle it works great! Gears mesh great, when i place it on the rifle not so good. The stress i think from the ears?? on the receiver lock it up so it will not turn just bind up. No one i know in Red Deer that might know how they work.
