Best 300-1000yd scope for the money

sightron 8x32...forget the Bushnell QC ; it's like lottery. sometimes you win sometimes you loose. many guys in the FT-R class uses sightron.
Owned all of those except the 2.5-10.
The sightron has the best glass by far.
Vortex had a nice feature set, but the glass lagged behind even the bushy's.
The reticle is also finer on the sightron, which is an advantage at the ranges you listed.
I sold the rest, kept the sightron.

That scope is SFP. I had good service from Jerry at Mystic Precision and also Prophet River.

Let's see if I got this right...you want a FFP scope that is useable from about 50 yards to 1K. You need 2 scopes to be really able to function properly all situations. Perhaps a Nikon Monarch 3 1-4x20 for the close stuff in the bush, and a Nightforce 3.5-15x50 for the longer applications.

Not available until April 2014 and at $1250-$1350 in USD may be out of your price range but something to consider..

I had the Tactical 3-15 and the lighted reticle was blurry/not well define. The replacement from factory was the same... I recommend Vortex Viper PST's and Sightron's SIII, I own 3 of those and really happy.
I have a Sightron SIII and very satistied. I bought it from Hirsh's Precision (Peter) They are on sale now.
For distance from 0 to 50 yards I have put a Vortex sight with red dot at 45 degres on the scope.
P.S. For close range Zombies a .22LR is enough.
