I'm sure JP would agree with your decision. However, I don't think anyone replying to this thread would. lol

This is the difference between many of you and me, i will never put down peoples equipments, they believe in it, it is fine this way, it doesnt take nothing away from me, and if someone is sucessfull with is rig, who am i to judge, but that is only me and i would not change a thing... JP.

This is a good thread and hopefully it doesn't get all watered down with crap.

I have spent a bit of time behind a Nemisis and didn't care for it. It shot well, but I struggled to get comfortable behind it and it just didn't 'feel' good....I wouldn't buy one, but that's just me.

If you are seriously considering alternative high end factory rifles, have a look at the Blaser LRS...it's a great shooter and very adjustable for fit.

PGW still gets my vote overall..

Never seen the thread about this 1/2 club that people are talking about, I know my Sako will do that without much effort on my part, cold or hot. I've done it at the BCRA Sniper Champs in years past when shooting the dots of doom, so you know it's all witnessed and stuff by people like Ryan Steacey, Craig, Skullboy, 999 and others.
Here is my reason for the Sako TRG22 (I just finished cleaning mine after 1080 rounds took me maybe 20 minutes to clean the barrel), it features a cold hammer forged barrel, in my opinion hammer forged barrels are the best available. It features what I consider to be the best trigger system on the market, working with nicest and smoothest bolt system. The mag, also, the best mag on the market bar none. It fits me, and I love it's looks. Oh and it shoots, my match ammo, commercial match ammo, and even junk surplus ammo it throws it all down range with amazing accuracy. It is essentially a custom built rifle, in only a few calibers. I think the only place for doing a custom build would be to come in cheaper than the Sako or PGW, as I don't think any of the builders are going to make a rifle any better, in the same class that is.
As for the Coyote, well I hate the name, it should have been more menacing, Direwolf or something. Plus the guys who build it area a bunch of salad tossers who spend their lunch time watching old Miley Cyrus videos, you know, the Hannah Montana ones? I'm also told one of them may have a pony tail now, would you really buy a rifle made by them? If if the Ski Team or the Cold Sores guys are using them?

Ok, seriously now, I love Steve and Ross like my brothers. They are great guys, and their rifles are top notch, I just happen to prefer how the TRG fits me. I've had a ton fun with some agency Coyotes, and they are everything you've heard, super accurate, well built and backed by a solid Canadian company with a great reputation. They will make you happy if you buy one of their guns.

I never put down your precious Nemesis, JP. I simply stated that few would agree that it's consistent with what the OP is looking for. Show me just one recommendation for the Nemesis in the last (11) pages of this thread and I'll admit that I'm wrong.

^^^This^^^ and the fact that "The Nemesis" wasn't even mentioned as a contender. We can't mention that "thing" in the same sentence as TRG or COYOTE. Not gonna lie though...I almost threw my tablet at the wall when he said he was going to buy one lol.

I am only an army of one and will leave it there, the tread is interresting... JP.

LMAO! If the OP decided to buy a Nemesis, I'd want the last 30 minutes of my life back spent reading this thread.

The 1/2" challenge is at the top of the page right now. There are 3 different ones. 2 in the precision rifles, and one in the hunting rifle forum as stickies.

If anything this thread should inspire you to get that TRG you own out of the safe and shooting the damn thing like it was meant for. I "Double Dog Dare You" to do so and wear out the barrel in the process.

You can say right now I'm slightly biased toward the TRG. Not to say there's not a Coyote folder in .260 in the future ;)

So I'm currently using my phone and its a ##### to look at this thread. However, to the gentleman that wrote the trg report. My question to u is. Have u ever had an issue with customer service? If u haven't had to, how would u go about it. As I've read bad reviews with regards to trying to get in touch with sako. What kind of warranty comes with the trg if any? Say the stock cracks or so. Something. Unlikely maybe but it happens. For $4000 am I just #### outta luck and have to buy a new stock altogether? From what I've heard about Ross, if something did happen he would be there to help you out in so. E way

Slavex what makes the trg mag so darned much better? Can you load cartriges with bullets seated to the lands and still fit in the mag? Can you with any of these rifles?

As far as loading to the lands and fitting in a magazine. Both rifles are purpose built rifles designed for field use and are not target rifles. Some do use them as such and they shoot very well but if used for what they were designed for you would be using factory match grade ammunition. If you are worried about loading to the lands and the rounds fitting in the magazine, again not designed for that purpose. If they don't fit you can single feed them but you might as well by a single feed target rifle if thats your concern.

Agreed. Most guys top load anyways so you need to decide what your really after. Maybe Ross can cut you one with a really short throat?

You can be sure he'd have a match reamer on hand for .308 Win. He likely has a number of them.
