A few of my friends are looking to get a group together to rifle moose hunt next fall in (probably) 21A or 21 B. If you are interested please PM me.

Thanks

D.

Make it 21A... the MNR is giving out more tags to try to thin the moose herd a little to help the struggling woodland caribou herd. Good luck!

Unless you hunt 21A and know that there are virtually no road accessible moose to hunt In one week this fall hunting there i saw 1 fresh track.... the chance of caribou recovery is 0 imho....

i have hunted the unit for 45 years and can honestly say that i have never seen so few moose or sign as in the last 5 years. 21B has fewer tags but a better chance for seeing a moose. .

forget the females.....whats this about 21A?....I hunt there? I have been skunked for a few years now. Maybe I am missing something beyond the no-moose woods out there.

I live right on the northern border of 21A. There are lots of moose left, you just have to wait until the first two weeks are over and 1/10th of the population of southern Ontario goes home. Ladies, my wife will be hunting with me this year, we'll probably be camping out in a winter tent. Let me know if you decide to come up.

21a is good to go, but not in the first 2 weeks. If you can make yourself comfortable in the cold, wait until end of November into the first 10 days of December. IMHO

That is great to hear... we will let you know. So far there are three of us interested. I've hunted there for a few years and our group always got moose. :) Your wife is really a trooper - staying in a winter tent. Kudos to her :)
