We picked up 3 of them just before Xmas and shot 2 of the 3 so far. One of the three had a floated barrel and it shoots just over one inch groups. We cut the webbing to float the barrel on one of the others and shot it but had about 4 inch groups at 100 yards. We filled the fore end with epoxy to stiffen the stock and floated again. Shot the gun off bags and still had about 3 inch groups. Found the stock is still is very weak in the action area and flexes with any kind of pressure while shooting. We put the rifle in a lead sled and held steady and tried not to apply any weight or pressure while shooting including face on the stock while shooting. Shot 2 groups like this and both were under an inch. The rifles do have potential but the stocks are defiantly the weak spot. Even with more bedding around action they will still be weak.
Over on other sites I've read that folks are calling Boyd's and are requesting them to please make a replacement stock for the Bmag. I just called Boyd's and they ARE going to make a replacement stock for the Bmag, yay! I hope they keep it slim & trim in keeping with the lightweight walking varminter theme of the Bmag, not one of those bulky target/thumbhole benchrest jobs.
Well if they make a Rimfire Hunter in a pepper laminate for the Bmag, I'm inIt will probably be like what they did with the ruger american 22
Couldn't agree with you more. This is very good news! I would love to pretty it up a bit, I think it deserves better.... I think its going to be a decent shooter, cleaned it up and tried again, had three out of four groups at 1.1 inches, maybe it just needs some "seasoning" round count is now 140. Wouldn't surprise me, my .308 got better with time so, why not this one

LOL, you made me laugh. A loaded firearm in a vehicle and discharging from a vehicle. I'm glad yours seems to be a shooter, I want one of these as soon as the manufacturers get the guns and ammo working together.
