Hey All,
I'm on the lookout for a Restricted PPK, i can't seem to find out. So i sent out an email to bits of pieces and they sent me back a great step by step process on getting one. Thought you guys might find it interesting.
The usual procedure is:
1. Buyer pays the seller for the gun.
2. Seller sends the gun to us for modification.
3. When the barrel has been replaced, we verify the new status as restricted and send in paperwork to CFC.
4. Seller receives a new registration certificate for the firearm which is now restricted.
5. Buyer pays us for the work done.
6. Seller transfers the firearm to buyer.
7. When transfer is approved, we send the gun the buyer.
Next question, anyone have a prohibited PPK they want to sell
Cheers,
-Tony
