3 gun in Ontario?

Y38? My Form6 paperwork seems to be all I need for unrestricted firearms. Is this paper something I should get next border trip?

The Y38 is to prove to CBSA that you had the gun when you left Canada. Registration certificates are good for restricted firearms, but since there is no more long gun registry the Y38 will prove that your non-restricteds came from Canada.

Received your sign-up! Hope to have some news about an upcoming match very shortly and those on the email list will be the first to know about it!

Thats great, appreciate the heads up. One hour away for me, not bad at all. I think I may have met some Galt members at the last EESA 3Gun, in the Blizzard.

Hmm never had an issue. Not saying I will never have one and I do cross with laser rangefinders, scopes, unrestricted's...

Everyone's mileage may vary...

My primary concern when crossing back into Canada is usually getting to a Tim Horton's ASAP.
Anything I can do to speed things up with CBSA order to get my hands on a paper cup of black juice is good.
I have a Y38 for my NR guns... Only ever used it once, but... I did have to use it...

If in doubt about anything re. travelling/customs just go read up on the CBSA website... It's all there.

Id go so far as to suggest that even pistol cal. carbines aren't completely appropriate.
We've had guys shoot the Team Hoser matches with them, but... any target beyond 50yrds it seems are gonna be misses or time wasters.
At the 3gun shoots we do in the US... Yeah, it's .223 min.
I don't care what people write on the intertoobs... You're not gonna hit a 10" plate at 400yards with a 9mm JR carbine.
