Is the gen 4 glock 17 good to go?

a bit off topic:

so, this frog lube thing. I am curious, I feel the 100% bio degradable made from food saving the planet save the whales while it gets into the pores of open metals and then it comes out while shooting = gimmick.
I mean, metal against metal = wear, regardless of what it is, it's going to wear, still, frog lube claims that with this natural product, they can lube any gun and it will be better protected than with any regular oil.

Still, after all this years, the automotive industry has not come up with anything better than synthetic oil...but! luckily for us a former Navy Seal has invented the best lubricant ever that gets into de pores of metal, smells good and it is made in the USA! IT"S HAS GOT TO BE AMERICAN! (INSERT USA FLAG HERE)...

Sorry, but I am skeptical of frog lube and I will not put it on any of my guns. I will stick to chemically proven lubricants instead of marketing hype.

With frog lube, I might fry an egg though. lol

It's the Gen3's that are having problems.

How this thread derailed into a lube thread is beyond me, Glocks like to run on very little lube if any.

Whatever works for you.

Bon appétit! :)

Gen 3 RTF2, the only perfected Glock.

- no reliability issues
- more grip over gen 4
- better slide finish then gen4

If I had lady hands Gen 4 would be my pick.
