Shopping for a new 40 S&W pistol

Hey guys I'm in the market for a new 40 cal pistol and I'm looking for recommendations. I've had just about everything at one time or another. How about the CZ SP-01 tactical? I just looked at a shadow and it's awesome. Glock 22 gen 4 is available as well, is the chamber dimensions tighter now on the new ones? M&P pro series is nice as well. Decisions, decisions ahhh

SAM 1911 in 40 S&W is on sale at Wolverine for $450. I'm tossing around the idea of ordering one just for the sake of getting a deal.

Sounds like a deal! I heard they are decent guns. I'll check those out. That sti tactical ss 1911 is sweet too. Little more than I want to spend for a range gun but damn nice guns.

I love my STI Spartan. Any STI 1911 or 2011 is worth every penny you pay for them.

I just can't pass up a great deal on a firearm that's of pretty good quality. Beats the hell out of a Norinco for quality and its not much more in cost.

I also just picked up a S&W M&P40 Compact with Canadian legal barrel from Irunguns. If I remember it was $679.

In .40S&W, I highly recommend Sig P226. I won't buy a Handgun that does not have an external hammer and a de-cocking lever. But if these aren't on your must consider list, I think I would take the S&W MP over the Glock. I really like their 3 different sizes of interchangable back handgrips.

Yeah it's a cute little pistol. I thinking of trimming a bit off the 107mm barrel it comes with. That extra bit hanging out the front bugs me. I'll take a pic and post it.

I like the 226 especially in stainless. Or the Tacops model looks like a good buy with 4 mags and an FO front sight.

I think a mm or two off the length would be nicer

I have the largest backstrap grip installed. It comes with three different sizes.

M&P is my choice. Trigger took some getting use too but overall the fit of the gun in my hand and every time I point it the sights line up right away. I test fired the G22 and Jericho 941 (Polymer) as well before making my final decision. I bought mine from Wanstalls in the range kit.
