I purchased an AR from them mid-last year. Everything went smoothly except that I found out later on in the process that their prices were in US dollars not CAN dollars, so my purchase decision cost me an extra $60 that I did not expect. I suggested that they change their web pages to clearly reflect this (which they have done). Someone looking on a Canadian web site expects quoted prices to be in Canadian dollars. I felt a bit ripped off at the time but I'm over it now for the most part but a slightly bad taste still lingers, lol.

I bought an item that was just not available in Canada.. it took a little time but everything worked out.. not sure if they added any staff to the team to speed things up though.
I ordered mags that took a month to get here, then I had to pay an extra fee after they landed. If I had known, it would have affected my decision, as it made the purchase marginally worth the wait. That was last summer though so maybe they've changed their fee structure.
BCM AR from them. Zero complaints.

It seems they sit in the U.S. till they get a bunch to save on shipping and customs work. the time in transit seems quick just the front and backend takes time..and then resending to end client.. mine took about 8 weeks..
This happened to me too, the difference in price ended up being $150 at the end of the day. So basically, you will be paying US money for whatever they have there, that means, if you use a credit card from Canada, the difference will be that of the canadian vs Us money that day, it is not the same everyday (the difference is a few cents, in hundreds, it adds up quickly). After that I noticed that they changed their website reflecting their prices in US money... It was too late for me and the whole deal costed me a lot more than what I wanted to pay.
If you buy pistols from them, you will get mags pinned down to 10 rounds, since they are in the US, finding 10 round magazines is quite an issue for them. The pistol was a Sig and the mags where pinned and as a consequence the mags were highly unreliable, I sold them and had to buy 10 rounds mags here in Canuckistan which costed me MORE money.
I would use them for exporting something I bought elsewhere, or parts. Not sure if I would use them for anything else.

I had them import 2 handguns from the USA, all went smooth. Bought a Bushmaster AR15 on sale and that went smooth. Then bought another pistol off their site along with magazines and it took over 6 months to fill the order, lots of back and forth, no communication through email, waiting, no explanation about requests for money when I overpaid and on my phone call, it was HOLD! not can you hold? or please hold? just HOLD! and then lots of yelling in the background..........that was my final order with them.
I've done multiple orders with IRG. Usually takes about 6 weeks or so to get what I've ordered up from the US. I've always been aware of their USD prices so no surprise for me. However, you need to know your pricing. The currency exchange can really bite you if you aren't careful. With our dollar nose diving I suspect their business will slow down quite a bit. Presently I'd use them for something rare up here that I couldn't find or for something that had a high dollar difference (to justify the currency exchange).

Bought a 22 lite from them, that was already in Canada, on January 4th. It still hasn't been shipped. RCMP forms arrived 2 weeks ago so it's registered. They gave the Shot show excuse, but this is the third gun I've bought from them and they all took more than a month to arrive.
Ordered twice from them, there was a screw-up with both orders. Wrong mags, incorrectly pinned rifle magazine to 4rds, pistol mag pinned to 5, long waits (3 months for one order that was IN STOCK), promised "free gift" that they never included, etc. Some people were really angry that they shipped their items in black plastic instead of using cardboard boxes. There were reports of damaged items when they arrived. One of my firearms appeared that it was handled by 20 different people (because it was) and had scuffs/scratches when I received it. It seemed that the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing over there... That was a little while ago, hopefully things have changed for the better.
I did save money on a couple firearms, but not sure I'd buy from them again when the US dollar will cost me 14% more and due to the issues with my shipments.

also pleased with irunguns. two purchases that would have been difficult to get in canada.
suggestion regarding exchange rates- amazon dot ca offers a visa card with a very good foreign exchange rate- used it with irunguns AND on numerous foreign vacations and got decent exchange rates every time.

Helped my aunt get my uncle a Colt Peacemaker for Christmas, ended up having a custom piece imported via IRG. I was happy with the process.
The current exchange rate isn't their fault, but I would guess it will slow their business as well.
