Where is everyone finding this stuff. I have looked on e-bay but not found much. Maybe I am not searching right. After hearing some of the crap people are getting from numrich I am not sure I want to go that way.

You have to be resourceful, go to gunshows, trade, buy, etc, try ebay = checking it everyday, contact sellers if they ship legal parts to Canada, buy from local dealers, or Numrich. Some sellers on ebay have extra parts that are from Italy and Greece.

So true purple, so true. Think I'm just gonna sit on mine for a few years. For 50.00 they can collect dust and I'll work on the ones I have that are complete.

Except all you have at the end is paper and ink in the garbage, when this is over I will have a Garand. A frankengarand mind you, but a Garand and some day even as it is, it will be worth thousands. Your ink and paper, not so much.

I mainly asked around. Many times I found that sellers had the Springfield/Winchester/HRA parts up for sale, but when you asked if they had any PB marked parts (or BMB for those who want that) they would reply saying they will check their stock and a day or two later you have a list of PB marked parts they have. If they say they dont have no harm done, keep digging/asking around. Not sure if these sellers think ppl aren't interested in the Italian parts so dont post them...

Has anyone used Vulcan Gun Refinishing before? I was thinking of taking the build there for some new park and to have the barrel installed and headspaced. He's done some nice Garands before.

Top notch! I have had work done by him before and was very impressed! Price is reasonable as well.

Yes, he does GREAT parkerizing with that characteristic greenish hue. I've only had him install and headspace barrels and do park work, but he does other things too.

I called him yesterday, and prices are $250 for a park of the whole rifle and $100 for barrel work that includes headspacing. So for $350-400 you can get what I would imagine is one fine looking M1 Garand! He also provides Boyd's Stocks at a price of $250 that is fitted to the rifle and given a vintage stain.

I just spent 30 minutes searching - can someone spell out the differences between Breda and Beretta?

I see that the Breda's might be in almost new condition.
