M1 Garand Stripped Receivers $49.95

I doubt there are US receivers. The ones we currently have we parted out from the Danish rifle kits that were sent to the States in 2003. I don't think there were any American made rifles in that batch, or if was they would be in the single or double digit numbers.

I too am wondering how many are left. I know a few retailers (Lever and Marstar) were selling these for a few years.

When Districorp was selling these, I bought maybe 5 of them - hard to remember exactly - but only one was Italian, a Breda. The rest were all SA. A buddy paid a little extra for a Winchester. I remember looking at them in the Ottawa Lebaron on the rack, a mix of Italian and USGI.

I'm a tad surprised we are not seeing any of the US receivers, unless they've been weeded out by someone at some point before SFRC got a line on the remainder.

Pics of the M1 garand Reciever (PIC HEAVY)

Here is a few pics of the 1st one I cleaned up. It's the best by far, with the other 3 3 showing wear, but it's still minor. This one is almost perfect. 99% park still left on it and almost no wear markings. Very, very little use, if any. The pics don't due the receiver justice.

Just curious to hear the progress on everyones build projects for these fine M1 recievers? Has anyone completed one yet? I am getting there, just awaiting for all my parts to arrive, pretty sure I have ordered all the pieces I require.

I got my barrel and front/rear sights.

I got all the gauges and tools (expensive stuff).

Barrel from Constantine is mint.

Got everything except the Stock, Rear Sight and Bolt, but have them lined up to buy. All parts so far are marked PB (to match receiver) with the barrel being a Danish VAR and a nice FKF marked sling. Getting close...
