I picked up some 38/357 155grn swc GC lead bullets, looking to start a reload for it in either 38 spl or 357 mag as i have empty cases of both, looking through my reloading manual it jumps 150-158grn which seems common, lots of data, i was gonna use a 158 grain load, but not sure what powder to use with my 5" barrel, as i have some red dot, blue dot and 800x on hand, i was leaning towards starting the red dot since its a revolver at 5" and id need the faster burn rate. Ive read that some always use the 110 powder and 2400. Using a small pistol magnum primer, and a recomended starting load of just under 5grn at 4.7 for red dot, in the 357 mag case. What could you guys recommend doing? I weighed a few bullets with lube and gas check, they are about 162.4grn-165-2 in weight
