Is it just me, or has the availability of certain brands of bullets changed over the years?
I remember back in the day that any place you went into would be ripe with lots of Speer, Sierra and Nosler in stock. These days it seems that wherever you go there is a HUGE selection of Hornady, some Sierra, and very little Speer (especially Speer pistol stuff).
I certainly don't have anything against Hornady, but what did I miss here? What changed?
And it doesn't seem to be just a Canadian thing, either. I spend quite a bit of time south of the line for work and it seem to be the same proportions of brands down there.
I just always really liked Speer pistol bullets and Sierra rifle bullets and wondered why they don't seem to be as well stocked anywhere as they used to be.
Anyone?
