I HATE seeing innocent people get ripped off. I see plenty of threads about bad experiences with dealer X or dealer Y and everyone is enraged. And simply because someone had info and chose to remain quiet rather than to bring to light what they know, this continues.
I mention this simply to raise awareness. Exactly as I raised the Swiss Arms issue many months ago.
This action is public knowledge, all legal actions are. I seriously doubt anyone has bothered to look into the background or pending actions of any company they deal with, yet the net is ablaze with guys claiming they were ripped off by someone taking the money and fading from the scene. I am not saying this WILL happen here, simply sharing info that a smart consumer may want to follow up on so as to proactively cover their assets.
Anytime a small business has very limited contact info, no fixed location, and no way to physically get ahold of the party the alarm bells should be deafening. Add to that, that it is a part time enterprise and has significant legal bills to cover the potential for bad things to occurr escalates.
So my question is when information is known about something, especially on a forum all about sharing information, how is sharing information that could save someone a significant loss unprofessional or bad?
