Stock is as ugly as it gets, well used and abused - with scrapes and gouges... metal work seems to be nice, won't know for sure until I clean it up properly. Didn't realize there would be a folding bayonet.

Its cheaper then what the chinese t53 would of been and they probably are in better shape so thats pretty good. I like a stock with some character every now and then.

No cleaning rod, bolt (46xx) and receiver non-matching #'s. One of those rifles you don't mind shooting the hell out of

They're in stock again, for anyone who wants one. Haven't checked the bore, wasn't thinking about cleaning the rifle yet... I emailed them asking where my cleaning rod is. Hoping they send me one just to complete the rifle.

Figured I'd get mine quickly, as this shop is about a 2.5 hr drive up the 401. Mail in the Windsor/Toronto/Montreal corridor gets here really fast.

Mine is shiny with strong rifling and the crown looks good. Metal work looks very good, much better than the stock's appearance. Not going to completely clean it up, as it's caked in cosmo and will take some time to do.

One in decent condition, maybe.
Bombproof, well, about as bombproof as guns can get.
I think M44s hover around 9lbs, the M38s (similar to the 44 but without the bayonet) are in the high 7 pounds.
