Incidentally, I passed on a like new Liberator for $550, about 20 years ago. They were single shot pistols, but had ammo stored in the butt.

Maxim-Silverman 1896 pistol. Yes it's an automatic.

Looks like a cross between a Ruger Mk I, Nambu and maybe a Webley air pistol.

This thread is fascinating. Aside from rare items, I don't think I've ever seen as many downright ugly pistols in one place!

i have never met a pistol i didnt like but you have to admit that sokolovsky is pretty sweet (and automag not too shabby)

yes that is right. could never understand why the 45 win mag was not more popular. it seems like the perfect big bore magnum auto round.

this (lar grizzly) came up on ee the other week. i would have jumped on it if the ammo was a little more readily available.

if you guys are interested i double checked and american derringer lists the SEMMERLING LM4. apparently they still make it.
another gun i always wanted is THE COP a four barrelled .357 mag. it would be a prohib because of the short barrels. this gun was intended to be a backup piece for police hence the cop designation.

The original Semmerling was made of tool steel...the American Derringer Semmerling (They call it the Simmerling) is made of Stainless Steel.
