WOW! Chrome and Two Tone Norinco 1911 IN STOCK!!!

Paul1shooter hit the nail on the head. It's so cheap here cuz our importers are bringing in the lower end stuff in the Norc line. And for the $350 price tag, you simply can't go wrong. My two tone just came and I am super thrilled with the overall quality. Maybe I lucked out but this 1911 is noticeably better quality than my previous 2. Cosmetics aside, the most important thing is reliability and every one of the Norcs I have owned have been reliable straight out the box. After some mods they'd been amazing to shoot. The other more expensive models in the Norc lineup looks much better for fit and finish. Would love to see those here sometime soon.

We forget that we are lucky to get the cheap Norcs here in Canada at this price because the US banned them. If they didn't we would definitely be paying a heck of a lot more for them. So enjoy the cheap prices cuz things may change one day.

Made in China and Norinco Markings. Pic taken without flash. They're almost not there thanks to the finish:

The only things I'll be changing at this point are a silver/chrome barrel bushing and possibly guide rod plug. Yes, I know it's still not perfectly clean.
A black barrel would work well for high contrast.

@mensa man, I agree, although I think the fit and finish is just not there that is just a lack of human skill on the manufacturing end and you are going to get that when you produce a 350$ gun for the masses. I am in no way criticizing it. if you read my post above , I am saying the norinco brand of fire arms is an excellent platform as the y use extremely high quality steel. And that is imaprative to having a solid gun the rest can be worked out. I have 2 norinco's myself love them both. I agree with the brand snob thing though. take your chrome .45 and put 700$ into it and it will shoot the lights out of ANY 2000$ American made .45 GUARENTEED!! I have a soft spot for norinco because they were my first purchases of a pistol. click on the link I posted up above and look at the high end norinco stuff amazing and beautifull as well.

I'm not sure I follow this logic....is this $2000 American made pistol a certain brand? Or is it just all the $2000 American made guns? What about a $800 American made gun...will it shoot better then it? Or maybe a $1200 US made gun? What exactly are you getting done for $700 that turns it into a bullseye gun?
Since you are guaranteeing it, will you give me my $700 back if it won't "shoot the lights out" of any $2000 US made 1911?
Seriously....such a ridiculous statement..

Not ridiculous at all, you buy the gun for $350...add $500-700 and it will be better than most American made 1911's that are in the same price range of $1200 and up. you should know what you can do to a 1911 for $700 dollars. I don't need to tell you.

And sorry I will not give you anything for anything I'm just saying that norinco makes a great base level gun with very high quality steel. all the other things can be fixed, if you start with garbage metal no mater what you do it will be garbage and a lot of brands of 1911's are made with varying types of metals. they add the bells and wistles to make up for it. Ruger Nailed there attempt at a 1911 and it's only 750$ that's a great buy ...not because it's a ruger but because it is actually a quality gun. anyway. you need to spend more time cleaning the sand out of your ###### , because obviously can't handle someone elses opinion...as I stated above it's my opinion!! nothing more nothing less I am not a gun guru like you obviously are so let's leave it at that!

I have a ######, and here is my ######s opinion. And it's only my opinion. I'm just a girl who wants to have fun shooting as a hobby. The only person I compete with is myself. I go to the range once or twice a week, I shoot, and hope I do better than the time before. The Norinco, or my SAM, or my Girsan are ideal for me. They may not have all the bells and whistles, but I don't need the bells and whistles yet. Down the road, if I get more serious, then I could put money into it, or just keep it for fun and get the $1200 Sig STX I have my eye on. But my SAM and Girsan, same as if I had a Norinco, would still be my daily drivers, because, hey, it was only $350, so if I wear it out practicing like crazy, I'm only out $350. That is only my opinion, and I respect all your opinions.

A very classy response. This had the potential of turning ugly. Good on you.

:cool:Ha. Yup , my wife has a ###### too, I respect that and to be honest I agree with you. but I just got dumped on for having my own opinion witch at the end of the day is just that. All I said is if you bought a norinco for 350$ and put another 700$ in it it would compete with the guns in the same price range and much higher. my original point was that norico uses very good metal in there guns, that is a fact , a well known fact. you will not wear out your norinco as fast as some of the other higher priced 1911's that's all I was saying and I was told that my opinion was ridiculous. Sorry for using a ###### as an insult. it is nothing to ashamed of or embarrassed of. my apologies.

Not to change the subject too much....but has anyone experimented with the Girsan....or the SAM pistols? I don't think that the SAM commanders are too much more expensive even in SS....and might be somewhat better finished, reducing the necessity or advisability of changing out all sorts of parts, or refinishing it....just to bring it up to the standard of other off the shelf firearms.

I wouldn't worry about it. And I certainly wouldn't feel ganged up on. Just the unfiltered comments of a fraction of the 'nutters.

You made some good points. I too own a SAM, but do not (yet!) own a Norinco, so cannot as of yet make any comparisons. But to your point, I think the SAMS, and likely the Norincos, do have value. Solid enough firearm for a budget price. Lets us spend more money on ammo and Scotch without detracting from the enjoyment of our sport.

Hi. Just curious, was that a good on me or bad on me.

I do appreciate your kind response. I love my SAM and was thinking of a SAM Thunderbolt next, but I could get 2 Norincos for the same cost. I really don't know what to do. And these chrome Norincos look real nice. Maybe a full size and a compact instead of the Thunderbolt. Anyway, thank you again for your kind words.
