Oh I'm sorry, (Projecting) that is a term that refers to someone who supplants their own flaws onto someone else, in order to feel of worth, or equal..................normally used when losing a debate or argument or feeling of less worth than the person upon whom you feel the need to project.

To state the obvious sir, is not to offend, it is but mere fact..............I have not badmouthed the 375 Ruger, in fact I have said it is a very innovative and efficient design, and I like the beltless .532 case, I DON'T like the Hornady brass.........All you have read is frivolous debate between Gatehouse and I, and my position that it will never supplant the H&H as King of the medium bores..............Smooth thy ruffled feathers, it's all in good fun.............

Honestly I think it might keep going at a mediocre rate as it makes 375 caliber rifles more affordable for the average hunter. Really Savage chambering it in a $700 gun is what's going to keep it alive and proliferate amongst the general hunter population who won't spend the money on a magnum action.
I've been looking for one, I believe its called the 116 Alaskan Brush Hunter ?
So far all I have found are the 338 Win Mag.
The price is certainly fair and I do have a bunch of brass to use up...... what better excuse ?

True enough ! The unhappiness you refer to also came with a price tag..... two rifles not counting my Brother's, several boxes of brass, an assortment of bullets, etc., etc. But hey, that's what its all about... right ?
I considered the Savage as an option to make use of my stash of brass because I won't sell it, also there is a possibility of a wildcat on the 375 Ruger ?

Ah yes, a prod............have all the necessary tooling and hardware now, it is just a matter of doing it now..........too many "honey dos" have placed gun works way down the list unfortunately......of course if I spent the time working, that I spend on CGN all my projects would be done by now..........wish I had continued to live in ignorant bliss of CGN..........
The New King has been wildcatted up and down with the most well known the 338 Campfire. Although wildcats have little interest to me, it's a shame the 7 mm, 308 and 338 calibers are so saturated with factory offerings as they would all be great options on a Ruger case.
Where are they sold ? Do they have a ' shortie ' like the Savage ?
It appears they offer blued or stainless in 20" or 24" barrels. Problem solved.

Well Kevan you inspired me, I finished setting up the lathe and wiring it this aft. Filled it with oil and familiarized myself with all the settings and handles. Cleaned all the goop off the bare surfaces Now all I need is a good light over it and I'm back in business. The 458 Ruger should be a reality by Fri.
