Hi,
I picked up a TRG 22 last year and have been enjoying learning to shoot it, I like the idea of honing my shooting skills and competing with others to help gauge my progress.
I was wondering how welcoming/tolerant the shooting competitions are? As a newbie still learning would I just annoy everyone with my bad shooting?
How are the BC rifle association events (F-TR I class I think) for newbies?
Are there any "precision groups/clubs" that do regular shoots together to advance/build skill?
I'm a member with Mission Rod & Gun club. I noticed on their website they have a "Centre Fire Bench Rest" on Sundays, but I can't find much else on the website. Can anyone tell me more about them? Are they a closed event or are they accepting new participants? Is it a precision shooting group? are these a "learning/skills" building event or a scored competition event? Are there any rules?
Thanks,
April
