Anybody elso done the glock grip reduction and silicon carbide grip?

I resisted modding my own competition gun for the sake of keeping it looking like a "gun". But I gave in and went with texturing too. Makes a world of difference shooting fast and furious in the rain and sweat drenched palms from the baking sun. Couldn't be happier.

Kudos for having the stones and patience for taking that on. I'm sure you wont regret it.

PS... I vote for Tacti-cool flat black all around. Blue would look like one of those safety/training guns ;)
 
i like flat black........................uber-tacticool. my rifle for 3 gun is a FDE armacoated Cz 858 tactical 2 though........but my versamax is 'black death' colour

I'm curious about the holes as well.
 
I understand cutting holes in the bottom of the magwel to pull out stuck mags my brother in law did that to his carry gun but the holes half way up the grip confuse me and seem counter productive.

Maybe so u can see the mags so you can eyeball how many rounds left?
No, mags arnt clear.

Maybe he has gloves that have inserts that lock into those holes, kinda like how you can get a bike that your shoes lock into?
