Swiss K31

I went coyote hunting in balmy -20 weather a couple weekends back. It was a nice break from the cold.
What a crappy winter, but in all seriousness, you will find your K31 doesn't mind the cold.
 
i was looking at the k31 at crappy tire and i was so close to buying it (i really want one) but a buddy texted me and asked me if i wanted to buy a 1941 rc k98 with a box of ammo for $420, so the k98 won haha, Any dealer selling k31 for cheaper then $300? :)

There was nothing under the butt plate. I bought this rifle at Lebarons for $289 without the bayonet. I think that they came from Tradex.

-20...I wish, I was out shooting my last week in -24 felt like -32 with the wind chill. Had the range to myself. Better then going to work, anytime.
The K31 is such a high quality rifle that it even makes me look pretty good, you'll enjoy it.

Thats beautiful....like the dark wood...not too many dings on the stock. Nice.

Went to EESA and shot this today at the 300 yrd range. The first 3 rounds hit the left gong and no luck on the last 2 rounds using iron sights. Far better performance than my SKS or SVT40.
 
I also bought one from Lebaron (Markham locatuon) and didn't find a name tag on it.

Anyone purchase from Lebaron and get lucky with a tag?
 
Just trying to figure out why you guys, 4000 miles away from Switzerland, pay under $300 for one, and here in UK, where you can almost hear the yodelling, we are paying well north of $600, often WAAAAAAAAY more.

PS - Not complaining, me, since mine came from the RAF Lakenheath PX in 1989 for $79.95 [K31] and $89-95 [K11].

Mine has the name tag (Peter C.) and his town where he lived but on the back of tag is a bunch of letters and numbers? Would that be his rank? It says- sch Sch. Kp. IV/3
