CanAm or Marstar?

At $530 marstar is cheaper, even with shipping. Plus you get a hard case which you couldn't buy for under $30.

I ordered the can am before marstar dropped their price. If I did it again I'd go with marstar, especially since I don't plan to hang any rubbish on the fore end and so don't need the rail.

Having also had to return a few problematic rifles in the past year, I appreciate their warranty, which sees me out no $.

First gun I've bought from can am, though, so no comment to make on them.

I have dealt with both. I have had good deals and bad deals with both. The difference is the quad rail and the name of the manufacturer. As I understand it the names don't mean anything as it is all one big company. Just different divisions maybe.

I decided to give John my money this time. Canada Ammo got money for a shotgun last week.

6 of one or a half dozen of the other. Take your pick.

Went for CanAm before Marstar woke up. I wasn't really uber-interested in the quad rail but didn't really have any strong preference either way, just a case of the early bird (CanAm) getting the worm as it were. It pays to be proactive, not just reactive in marketing.

I went with the Marstar deal, I've dealt with them several times and never had a issue. The deciding factor for me was I didn't like the quad rail on the CanAm one. The nice thing about buying the Marstar one is not just the extra little bit of savings all in but I only have to pay 5% tax vs buying locally from CanAm.

Yep. Same gun pretty much. Same price pretty much.

CanAm has a quad rail.

Marstar is roughly $30 cheaper all in.

Either way, my co-worker and I have plans to pick up inexpensive ARs in the very near future, and we spent part of the trip to a job site today discussing pros and cons to both.

What's your input?

including shipping?
CanAm will include shipping
I've dealt with both and don't have any complaints about either. I haven't met anyone at Marstar personally but I have met CanAm and a few of his people and I know they're stand up guys.

If it were up to me and it was just a matter of which of those companies, it would be CanAm. plus you get the quad rail

Have dealt with both, no problems from either. Marstar seems to have lots of parts for the Chinese guns, not that you'll need them. both excellent

CanadaAmmo. Better customer service, with no attitude! And free shipping, no matter how you do the math. I like things simple.

I went with Can Am as they were first out the gate with their sale. When I first saw the Marstar sale, I thought it may have been a better deal. However, when you factor in things like taxes, shipping and what you get with each rifle, I think it will work out to equal value, regardless of which vendor one chooses.

Only in Canada. For me it is more attractive to buy from Can Am because of free shipping and 5% tax.
