Brought out the Famae this weekend and played around.
So a quick range report.
Shot 100 rounds through mine this weekend. The rifle is very comfortable to shoot and hike around with, and the recoil impulse is straight to the rear, the muzzle does not jump and the rifle settles right back on target. Accuracy is quite decent at first glance, though I have not put it on paper yet. I do not like the bipod very much, as it will fold either forwards and backwards without much pressure, so you have to be careful about how much you load your bipod. It is very effective at mitigating muzzle jump, but I wish it would not fold forwards.
I was firing at 200 meters, using Norinco copper-washed .308 Winchester ammunition. Shot 5 rounds on clean steel to get it sighted in, 3 shots, adjusted the windage, and fired two more, and walked down to take a photo. With Norinco ammo, a less than perfect rest, and a 1-4x scope, it really shows that this firearm has plenty of potential for accuracy. Note that this plate is 18" wide for scale.

Out of the 100 rounds, near to the end I started having some fail to feeds, the magazine followers appear to be binding up and not allowing the next cartridge up fast enough. This may have been an issue due to the cold, or due to the magazines having a burr on the followers that is binding. I will take them apart and check, but I am pretty much 100% sure that these few fail to feeds were mag related, not the fault of the firearm.
All in all, I am extremely happy with the rifle, and once the mags are sorted out, this will be a firearm that comes out with me quite frequently.
