Yes it looses its "power" to absorb moisture but you can restore it just by placing it in the oven on "LOW" heat and leaving the door open. You're just drying it out.
This would be in an oven with electric elements, as any gas oven will have way too much moisture I would think.
i use them to keep powder dry in the cupboard , and where i store my bullets does this stuff ever loose its power????? and can you buy this stuff???? hound13
It works in a gas oven but takes much more time..
I wonder if stovetop would be an option ....
I get ones the size of a small sandbag from my local harley shop for nothing, the bikes come with them in the crate and the boys just throw them out otherwise.
