Ok, So I have this rifle with a long picatiny rail on it and flip up sights. I wanted to put a scope on it so I picked up a 2 - 7 power scope. The scope mount is not exactly the right height but it's pretty close to center of the sights.
Bottom line is I cannot see the front sight when looking through the scope.
So... what's the trick? Does the Co-Witness thing only work with a 1 power scope? I was hoping 2x would be ok.
Or does the sights need to be exactly in the center of the scope?
Or do I just need a different scope?
Any thoughts?
