We will be meeting across the street from the base firehall at aprox 0815 the first morning at bldg P-141 . It is a large white 5 bay garage .
Come onto base on Menin road and take the first right onto ( Somme road) on the immediate right is the firehall (bldg S-105) and then take the first left after the firehall and Bldg P-141 is right on the corner.
If you require a map of the area or links to a couple hotels let me know.

i may be able to get another pistol for you to use .... We are finally getting access to use echo range on base but no 45acp allowed.
22, 38 ,40cal or 9mm only for pistols. And if you are really quick on the reloads the sks will work but you would be better off with the m-14
Crap, my favorite of all calibers to shoot.
Time to start practicing with 9mm again.
What's their arguement against .45ACP?
Is the range not certified for it?

The range you shot on last year (yankee range) 45 ACP is allowed .This year we are using Echo range as its a better range for CQB with less restictions on fire and movement but sadly 45ACP is not allowed on it . 40 cal and 9 mm are allowed though.

I am excited to use Echo Range this coming June! We still have spaces for any of you new to the CQB games that seem to be popping up across the country! :D

Cheers,
Barney

Noob is interested. But...
Noob s got one non-res rifle and lots of ammo. Can noob come ? Any spots left for this clinic?
Thx

Fine, I gave up. I bought myself an AR, don't think my SKS would cut the deal plus 4 hours drive so I want it to be worth while. Please sign me up, EMT will inbound tonight once arrive home. Thanks.

Regard !

Hey Barney , we can have a moving target now if you want to incorporate it into the training , either advancing towards the shooter or laterally across the front , saw a stand like this at a 2 gun match last year at the Rockcut shooting club near Northbay so I made one today .It was simulating the 21 ft rule and it was placed 21 feet in front of the shooter...shot clock went off and it advanced towards the shooter who had to draw and fire 1 to the head and 2 to the body. We had 2 runs , one with a pistol and one with the AR and was a lot of fun.
Hand held fig 11 fits in perfect.

Looking forward to seeing you again buddy

That is awesome!

I have previous commitments but may pop out on Sunday to snap some pictures (if that's ok with you Barney)

So - my only non .45 is a slide conversion of a 1911 to .22lr. Runs ok (~3 failures per 500 rounds, cleaning done after 250).

Would this .22 pistol work for this course?

Yes, as its all close range with the emphasize on the techniques of the sport ( transitions, mag changes etc) ...no scoring .

Starting to get excited!! Any chance any one has a holster for the HK P7M13? Since .45 cals are a no go, I need to rig something up for the old P7M13.
cheers
