1/4 MOA Challenge

Keep Labour Day weekend open, we have our club championship on the Saturday and Sunday. Open to all of course.

impractical challenge, no one with a stock rifle could pull of 1/4 moa at 300, im shooting my swiss arms shr 970 on a mcmillion a2 stock, shooting my seira reloads, and i was able to get a 3 shot group at 200m of .243 inchs, make it 200m, and you'll have a better turn out

Again somebody who doesn't understand the spirit of the challenge. We don't shoot f-class or t/r under 300yd/m so your point is moot.

I think that this rifle may be up to the task with a little tweaking and mayby switching to Nosler brass. I never thought that I would get this CZ 527V, in 204 Ruger, too shoot better than 1MOA. I found this load on the internet and shot these 300 yard groups with a $300.00 scope mounted. I shoot all groups from the bench with bi pod and rear bag.

I plan on re barreling the 204 to 20 EXTREME. Just putting a custom 20 EXTREME barrel on my CZ527 V, Kevlar stock has allowed me to shoot many sub 1/4 groups. Almost got 4 the other day while testing IMR 8208XBR with Remington Brass as these targets show.

No I'm not going to claim i would be able to shoot a 1/4 moa 3 shot group at 300yds.

But i am quite pleased with this 12 shot group at 100 yds with my Savage LRPV.

Nice shooting and great video. You can really see the mirage moving the target around.

yes "Mirage" has become quite the learning curve for me....

On the second last shot in the video you can see the bullet for a second as its coming into the target.
