The chambers are not the tightest on the 10/22. They were designed to shoot every brand of 22lr out there. You may find your gun likes one brand over another. I myself rechambered my 10/22 and now it's awsome out to 125yrds if I do my part. Their triggers are also pretty heavy. If it is the older steel type internal parts they can be reworked. If it is a fairly new model then you most likely have to replace the trigger parts to get a smoother, lighter trigger.
