You're right, if it makes the owner happy then power to them. What pointless mods and spinner rims have in common, is that they discredit the owner as a serious shooter or driver and serve one purpose. Posing.
I fully agree that Redford is rapidly sinking the province. I didn't vote for the **** and surely won't be voting blue anytime soon.

TDC...you must be one of THE most unhappy people on this site, NOTHING pleases you and you cannot let anything go. I assume you do nothing for fun and are so practical the only utensils you own are titanium sporks (as you NEED the lightest, go fast anything) and own 7 pairs of the same t shirt to keep things simple. Pee in the shower to save time maybe? No personal relationships as it cuts on your super marksmanship Glock training for your one many army?
Good god, its a easy 10/22 mod that works for some people and takes less then 10mins to do...but some how that makes people a poser? Why not do it yourself instead of ordering the part and paying the same cost of the item for the shipping and waiting a couple weeks to get it? What are they being a poser of anyways? Trying to be you? LOL
There are millions of Ruger 10/22...99.9% of them hold no collectors or special value...even if nothing is gained, its fun to work on your gun and get to understand it. To you get mad when people change grips out on there guns ONLY for a fun/cool factor? Get them arma coated in a new colour? I have done the bolt release mod to 2 of my guns and 2 more that belong to buddies (that is what you call your friends, people you go out and have fun with...I know its a new concept to you).
Why oh why was it done? Because releasing the bolt was not always easy, had to angle to gun correctly (usually down I believe?) and wobble the release from time to time...so this stopped all that. We are not trying to be ninja, trying to be go fast go hard Magpul bros that hold our guns like bafoons...it was done to ease the use of said gun, to add more FUN to it.
