Btw, there is no such thing as a 10/22 trainer.
Get a 15-22 or .22 conversion and be done with it.
Questar
Wanstalls
Dlask
Do you offhand shoot or benchrest?
Still what is your end goal?
A tacticool 10/22 or a trainer .22?
Drop it in a Troy or SR22/Nordic Chassi and be almost like your TAC21. With a Dlask 8".920 barrel, Moe grip, 9" forearm, SR22 chassi, fake suppressor, CTR stock, with 2X scope my 10.22 was around 7lbs. I'm sure if you put a A2 stock, a much heavier set of rings, 12-15" forearm, bigger scope, a 16" .920 barrel, you could push it over 11lbs, if needed weight the stock.
Pretty much this!
Have a lot of spare parts around to build it. Just need the barrel
I had a dlask SS HB, and for sure its a heavy S.O.B.Dlask or Volquartsen Custom ( Sylvestre Sporting Goods is a VQ dealer ) Those would be my 2 choice for barrels that be heavier.
Okay, then why not use a AR22 or 15-22?
Then it is your Tac21 in .22 form
Tac 21 is a chassi system for most common bolt actions to allow AR15 Forearms, Buttstock ,Grips. But My guess is he using a 10/22 being he HAS one.
There is no reasoning with him.
A troy chassis, dlask 18" barrel and a magpul prs stock would be a pretty sweet setup.
