10/22 bull barrels where to find

The first pic is my Dlask 18" stainless, it's friggen heavy. The second pic is a Dlask receiver with a Kidd Ultra-lite 16" barrel. Real nice and light. Perfect for off hand shots. Cheers, Rob image.jpgimage.jpg

A dlask 12.5" with a xb5 is about perfect for off hand shooting with a scope. It's not crazy heavy, but still enough weight that you can keep it steady (your heartbeat isn't throwing you off 2 moa). For open sights and lightning fast target changes I'm in the process of a new build with the tactical solutions barrel. Here is a pic of the DAR 22 for reference.

Also a recent addition and in my mind a must with a dar rail top receiver.

Nice! Where did you get your cheek weld?

The riser is a tac pro, I think I got from mystic precision. The skull is off an old patch I had, (I thought the rubber material on the patch went well with the hogue overmold stock). I cut the skull out of the patch and used industrial grade velcro from home depot to stick it to the tac pro. Turned out alright.

What do you guys think of a "match grade" standard contour 16" barrel??? The idea is reduced weight compared to 0.92 barrels, but still better accuracy than factory barrel. That is the idea, but in practice are you really getting the better accuracy without the stiffness of a heavy barrel?
