Seems to like nearly anything, I mean it doesn't hate anything in particular. um the best shooting for high velocity has been winchester super x 40 grain hollow points, bought a case of 5000 years ago, it hammers gophers! The fed 525 bulk stuff has always been decent. Im not a fan of round nose, anything with a somewhat flat tip kills so much better I have found. Tightest groups to date have been with remington 36grain sub sonic.... bought a brick years ago but the price is crazy now! Just did a zero check last week at 75 yards. the win super x 40 grain was bang on, and doing about 1" groups, but the rem sub sonic was about 2" low but produced 2, 3 shot groups under a half inch in a row. dynamapoints shoot alright, and the s&b standard is great as well but both don't cycle the action 100%
So yeah the federal 525 bulk is my go to 'cheap' ammo.
