10/22 Custom Receivers

So..... aluminum billet, anodized, integral picatinny, cleaning hole,
ready for slip fit barrel.
Let's say that somebody was already working on them.
The receivers will be available in 2-3 weeks top.

If you want no trigger group pin holes, you have to go with an 80%,

They are nobody's for the moment.
They are just being developed.
I know nothing about the price, sorry.

The one without trigger holes is for whiteboy Clobbersauras.
(If he wants to build a bullpup, he has to machine down the picatinny rail,
otherwise it's gonna mess up his girly face
and he's not gonna be pretty anymore).

Or he could make a cheekweld picatinny rail attachment! :D

What else?
Can I get one with a farting Beaver Logo? (I'm never gonna let that die until I get it).

Great, that's ust what I need another hunk of picatinny rail lying around. I guess I could put it in the box with all my others!:D

Machining down the rail is gonna be the least of my problems if I can actually get my hands on it!:D

This does look very nice. Now I actually have to think about how to do the trigger group work, stock, etc...that should be fun.:)

Deckard is going to make one out of Kydex.

could be seen a ruger video about 10 minutes ago and it was close to this, so it could be me just not liking the Nontappered look. that's why I would like to see a KID classic frame or something different make it here.

First, you said you wanted to see Canadian made receivers.
This is one that is being developed right now.

The one in this picture is not completely seated in the stock.
It has no hold-down screw, as it is just a model,
it is not finished and it will never be.
Production will start later.

And no, it is not tapered, indeed. On purpose.
The original Ruger tapered was designed in the early 60's.

Tapper the back and maybe I'll like it..... ;) LOL I started this to get interest in a different frame available to Canada other then the factory Ruger junk out there. be it Canadian made or Imported here.. There are a lot of rimfire shooters here that would like something better.

Dr.Lector Are you building this frame?

I've tried to taper it. Similar to Razor. It wasn't very pretty.
But the real reason for the full-length picatinny
is that it offers more strength, rigidity to the receiver,
like a spine.

I am not trying to please here, I only showed some pics of stuff
being developed right now in Canada.

No, I'm not building it. Somebody else does.
I wouldn't advertise here.
You'll most probably know when it's out,
in 2-3 weeks, as I said.
I think it's going to be only a small batch.

Later, a very few special purpose receivers (target)
with threaded barrel, 2nd hold-down, flat top, increased rigidity, the works,
and from those maybe some will make it to the market.

I only liked your original idea of "Canadian made",
that's why I responded in your thread.
