I've been missing for awhile and I'd like to ask the CGN crowd for info on any developments regarding 10/22 high cap mags. I've recently bought some Butler Creek 25 rounders. I found them to be incredibly finicky and unreliable compared to the ones I used to buy some time ago. Either I'm horribly unlucky, or they aren't what they used to be. I went to Brownells and noticed that they're selling TI 25 steel lipped polymers for $32!!! WOW!!! I was about to buy a few until I read the new rules Barry came up with. Apparently, USA can't export any high cap mags unless it's to law enforcement or military! %@$%#$&@%! I almost ripped my hair out when I read that, incredible. Is there anybody selling any polymer TI 25 steel-lip mags in Canada that doesn't charge double to triple the price of what they're actually worth? It seems that the 10/22 high cap mag situation is worse than before I left. After Ruger released their awesome factory 25 rounder that is dirt cheap, durable, reliable, and takes apart for cleaning, it looks like they've effectively killed all the 10/22 high cap mag competition out there. It's really such a shame those fantastic, short sighted, people at Ruger marketed this magazine for use in their pistol. Thanks guys! I just hope those GSG 110 round drums are worth all the hype. Can anybody recommend anything out there that's reliable and available to us Canadians?
